The April Lowdown..

We’ve featured in so much this month and a lot has been going on for Team Dean Jones so here’s the lowdown..

Edinburgh Business Awards

By surprise we were nominated by the public & made finalists in this year’s Edinburgh Business Awards held at The Principle on George Street. We were in 2 categories ‘Best Edinburgh Hair Salon’ & ‘Best Local Business’ it’s so rewarding to have all our hard work noticed and we can’t thank all our lovely clients enough for voting. We all attended the awards on the 2nd of May and went on to take home ‘Best Edinburgh Business‘  yaaay!

Thank you to all our wonderful clients for voting, what a great evening. We are now Grand Finalists at Scotland’s Business Awards being held on the 28th of May at the Glasgow Marriot.

We would really appreciate if you could follow this Link and Vote for Us

Hairdresser’s Journal

This month our collection also made it into every hairdresser’s bible ‘Hairdresser’s Journal’ which is so great, they gave us a lovely write up.

Salon Business

Featured us as well this month, telling readers all about our ‘Blowdry Masterclasses’ why don’t you try one for yourself? At these evenings a group of up to six friends can get together over a glass of fizz and enjoy a masterclass from all the team on blowdrying and styling. The masterclass is free to regular clients provided they bring along five friends and we guarantee a great time.

BangStyle

We were also taken by surprise and were winners of Aprils ‘BangStyle Supreme’. BangStyle is an online platform that inspires other women and hairdressers through the art of hair, it showcases real salon’s work so it was great for our very own ‘Allure’ Collection showcased worldwide and to be winners!

Bloggers

We’ve had a couple special guests in salon over the past month, Dean got to meet two lovely Edinburgh bloggers who both got pampered in salon. Joan Collins from ‘How Does Joan Do It’ was our first, Dean re-lightened all Joan’s hair back to blonde ways. She posted a great Instagram post with the final result.

Our next special guest was the very yummy mummy Lynda HamiltonParker a Journalist from ‘Scotland B2B’. Lynda was very inspired by Amanda Holden and her long bob with lots of texture and shape, Amanda actually followed us after Lynda tweeted how awesome her new hair cut was wow!
